Today’s work went into three things you notice as soon as you play.

Hits you can feel. When you hit an enemy the whole torso no longer moves as one block: the part you hit reacts. A hit to the head snaps the neck, one to the shoulder twists it. The body then springs back to its pose, so it doesn’t look like jelly.

Buildings that really collapse. Some floors used to stay floating after the walls were destroyed. Now every piece knows what it rests on: when all its supports break, it falls too, in a chain, including cornices and rooftop blocks.

Ki charge debris. Charging your aura on the ground lifts asphalt fragments that orbit around the character and drop when you stop. Nothing lifts from water or sand.

What still isn’t right. The city is made of simple shapes, the clouds don’t show up and the charge debris sometimes starts late in the packaged build. They are on the list.

If you want to know when there is something new to try, wishlist the game on Steam.
